Mourinho made Pogba his
most expensive signing ever when he brought the midfielder back to the
Premier League in the summer of 2016.
But the Portuguese gaffer is yet to see the 25-year-old live up to the £89m fee United handed Juventus to re-sign him.
Jose Mourinho picked the likes of Scott McTominay over Pogba at times this season and that came amid rumours of a rift between the duo.
Pogba has now discussed the relationship he shares with Mourinho, suggesting everything is not as it may seem from the outside.

hinted he has sometimes deviated from Mourinho’s instructions though
after realising he is in control of his on-pitch actions.
"But the players, they're the ones on the pitch," Pogba added. "The coach tells you something and you do something else — you're on the pitch. And then it hits you. You're the one who has the last word."

playing in a system where coaches are less dominant than star players.
